Saitek P2600 gamepad - controls are erratic with FIFA 2011

I'm using a Saitek P2600 gamepad to play Fifa 2011 on my PC. The controls are totally erratic. Is there any solution?
I've tried to reconfigure my gamepad several times, but it doesn't work.

Solution

Try re-installing the drivers for your device:

• http://www.saitek.com/uk/down/drivers.php
• Select: Gamepads
• Product selected: P2600
• Then you choose your operating system
• Download the drivers and reinstall them
• Now launch Fifa 2011, it should work properly.

Upon launching Call of Duty World at War, I'm getting the following error:

• Click on Start > Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Sound > Speakers > Properties > Advanced Tab
• Change the "Default Format" to 24 bit, 48000 Hz (Studio Quality)

Sims3 - Activate cheat console

How to access the cheat console for Sims3.

Solution

• Press Start to bring up the pause menu.
• Simultaneously press L1, R1, L2, R2 (if you play on a PS3) or LT, RT, LB, RB (if you play on Xbox 360)
• A dialog box appears and asks if you want to enable cheat mode..
• Under MacOSX press :"Cmd+Shift+C"

Solution

There is simple ways of downloading CS 1.6. If you want to buy the game then Google "download steam", download and install steam on your pc, then search counter strike on steam and buy the game. Download will start automatically and game will work perfectly.

Well I'm wondering why's GTA IV is so slow for me. I'm running it on Windows Vista Ultimate, on a AMD Athlon 64 X2 6000+ (3.0Ghz), with 3GB of Ram, and I have an Nvidia GeForce 8500 GT (512 Mb).

I know it is recommended to have a 8600GT, but still, it is a 512MB video card. It even lags when using 800x600 and eveything lowered to none or 0 in the configuration.

Solution

• Go to The nVidia Control Panel and go to Manage 3d settings
• Then turn Anisotrophic Filtering OFF
• and set Antialiasing Transparency to Multi Sampling
• Antialiasing Setting to 2x
• Texture Filtering Quality to High Performance
• Texture Filtering -Trilinear Optimisation to ON
• Texture Filtering -Negative LOD bias to ALLOW
• Threaded Optimisation ON
• Vertical Sync and Triple Buffering ON
• Change these Settings . The Performance Will definitely Improve. It Worked For Me .

• From CS main menu go to Options > Advanced > Keyboard
• Click on the Advanced button
• Check "Enable developer console (~)"

Battlefield 3 - Release control unpacker

Upon trying to launch BF3, I'm getting the following message:

Solution

• Start your PC in safe mode (with network access)
• Disable your Firewall and launch BF3.
• The error message shall not be displayed.
• Close BF3 and restart your PC in normal mode.
• Run your game.

Vista - Unable to install GTA4

Issue

I'm unable to install GTA4 on my PC. Both the OS and the game are genuine. The installation process begins without any problem and then it stops, freezing my PC.

Solution

• Insert GTA IV installation disk and close the autorun menu,instead browse your DVD drive and locate the setup.exe.
• Make a right click on it > "Compatibility" tab> check "Run this program in compatibility mode for:" in the list and select "Windows XP SP2 "and validate your choice.
• Double click on the setup.exe to start the installation.

Modern Warfare 2 - Snatch and Grab mission tip

Hello. Am having trouble with snatch and grab mission. I can get half way through easy I usually snipe some enemies from the airplane before dropping down but when I think it's clear to go 2-3 juggernauts charge me from nowhere all-time and it's very frustrating being stuck on same mission for hours.
I need some tips to get past or get away from them.

• You have to make a run for it while throwing your flash bangs, a lot easier when there are two players.

Call of Duty - List of commands to be used in console

• Here is a list of commands that you can used during a multiplayer session in Call of duty !! Those commands can be used directly through the console if you have enable it in game option.

• • /serverinfo - This command shows the server settings and configurations.
  • /map [map name] - This will load the given map.
  • /map_rotate - This will load the next map of the rotation. This is set in the 'sv_maprotation' file on your server.
  • /map_restart - This will restart the current map.
  • /fast_restart - This will restart the current map just like /map_restart but is much faster as it will not load the map again. It will just restart the map.
  • /status - This shows information about the connected players. This includes the client ID, score, ping, GUID, name and IP address. The ID and name can be used for the following commands.
  • /tell [player id] - This will display a message to a specific player. The ID is given with the /status command.
  • /clientkick [player id] - This will kick a player according to its ID (given with the /status command).
  • /kick [player name] - This will do the same as the /clientkick command, but this command requires the player's name. However, some names are very difficult to enter (with color codes etc.), thats why the **/clientkick commands is easier in use. You can use 'all' as player name, this will kick all players from the server.
  • /onlykick [player name] - Does the same as /kick as far as I know.
  • /banClient [player id] - This command will ban a player according to its ID. The player's GUID will be added to ban.txt.
  • /banUser [player name] - This command does the same as the /banclient command. However, this requires you to fill in the player's name, it is therefore advised to use the /banclient command (names can be long or contain color codes).
  • /tempBanClient [player id] - This will temporary ban a player using the player's ID. The length of a temporary ban can be changed in the server configuration file.
  • /tempBanUser [player name] - This will temporary ban a player using the player's name.
  • /unbanUser [player name] - This will unban a user according to the player's name. If the player's name appears more than once in ban.txt, you can edit the file and remove the banned player manually.
  • /dumpuser [player name] - This will give information about the player.
  • /killserver - As the name says, it will shut your server down.

Sims 2 - No updates when using cheats

I've noticed that there are no available updates, when using cheats with Sims2, is there any solution for this problem?

Solution

autoPatch x: This cheat lets you re-enable notifications when updates are available for The Sims 2.

Enable autoPatch Viewer and go to custom content (the small flake-shaped button on the UCP (Universal Control Panel)). If an update is available, a message asks if you want to download it. (replace x with on or off)

NFSU and LAN problems...

Hello, I try to connect NFSU to LAN connections but cannot. It shows an error message..The error says my pc have lost connection to EA server. Please check my adaptor or something like that...someone who knows please tell me how to solve this??I have no connection on internet just want to connect via PC to PC???

Solution

• I had the same problem, a WAN with 4 laptops, 1 Dell XPS M1730 with Windows 7 -64b as server, and 2 laptops with XP3 and 11 with Vista.

Setting up the file SPEED2.EXE with

• • XP3
  • administrator right (right-click on the file, choose "properties", then "Compatibility" tab, then select Run This Program as XP3, and also in Privilege Level, say "Run as administrator")
• IT DOES THE TRICK !!!
  • (Be sure also that, when you start, your firewall/antivirus does not block the communication: ALT+TAB when trying to make a LAN for checking if your firewall does not ask you the authorization for proceeding...)

How to put custom music in The Sims 3?

• To do this, copy your music (mp3) in the following folder:
• My Documents> Electronic Arts> The Sims 3 Custom Music
• In the game, click on a stereo and select personalized music to play it.

The same tricks apply to Sims 2:

• You can put all your music in mp3 file in My Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2\Music\ in one one of the folders, depending on the style of music (pop, salsa, rock ...).
• Then in the game, turn on your hifi and do: "change CD". Select the folder where you put the music and do "next song" to get to your music.

COD Modern Warfare - No server found

I have a legal copy of COD 4 installed and wanted to try some multi-player games. I've only been able to connect to a server once and played for a couple of seconds, before being disconnected.
I don't understand, I have a Steam account, punkbuster is installed ...etc

Solution

It should be note that most of the games protected by Punkbuster are not compatible with software like Daemon Tool, Alcohol 120...etc

• Punkbuster consider that if your PC uses this kind of software , then there's a possibility that you're using a cracked version of the game.
• Disable all your virtual drives during gameplay.
