Vista - Unable to install GTA4

Issue

I'm unable to install GTA4 on my PC. Both the OS and the game are genuine. The installation process begins without any problem and then it stops, freezing my PC.

Solution

• Insert GTA IV installation disk and close the autorun menu,instead browse your DVD drive and locate the setup.exe.
• Make a right click on it > "Compatibility" tab> check "Run this program in compatibility mode for:" in the list and select "Windows XP SP2 "and validate your choice.
• Double click on the setup.exe to start the installation.
