GTA San Andreas - Unable to add mods

Issue

I have an updated version of GTA San Andreas and my problem is that I'm unable to install mods or customize the game. What can be done?

Solution

If you have the version 2.00 of the game , you must downgrade it to version 1.00 to be able to run mods.
